I have just officially registered WarfareCraft to This is a site where you can register your project for free, and have developers bid on the amount of money they want in return for completing your project. I made an immediate payment of about $8 to put our project as "urgent" and "featured" so that it'd appear at the top of the charts. I have also put $50 into the project's finances. (I can remove these funds whenever I want.)

All we have to do now is wait for some developers to start bidding. I did speak with "Mr. Dougal" in the site's chatrooms and he told me that it'd probably cost around $250 to complete the entire server. Of course, this is just one person. It could cost more, it could cost less. However, considering how much work has to be done, I think this is a reasonable offer.

In the project details I listed how much had to be done, so it's not like he's oblivious. It's certainly a lot to do for $250. That's about 1/4th minimum wage. Lol. The developers which we will be hiring will need to be able to implement all of our mods, all of our plugins, and create all of the cities and battlefields, as well as all of the NPC skins, etc.  I have to see where this is going to go, but seeing as I'm currently paying $25 a month for the server, and just threw down an initial $50 which will cover about 20% of the project's finances, I'll need the rest of you to cover at least 75% of the remaining funds. That's about $168.

I personally think this is a reasonable investment considering how once the server is launched, we will have in-game perks, and donation rooms and will probably end up generating way, way, way, more than $250. I think this a great opportunity, but for now, we'll just see how this goes!
